The ICC is a globally recognized credential, and when you earn it through the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), you’ll open up a world of possibilities for your sailing adventures.

What is the ICC? The International Certificate of Competence, commonly known as the ICC, is an essential qualification for anyone who wishes to navigate international waters. It serves as proof of your competence as a skipper, demonstrating your ability to safely handle a vessel in a wide range of conditions. The ICC is highly respected and accepted in numerous countries, making it a valuable asset for sailors seeking to explore new horizons.

This course will entitle you to charter sailboats up to 24 meters of length.

5 day intensive course or 2 day assessment for experienced skippers

Issued by the RYA for eligible nationalities.

What’s Included in Our ICC Course?

Active Sailing in the Mediterranean: Our ICC course is not just about theory; it’s about real-world experience. You’ll spend an exciting week sailing the beautiful Mediterranean, putting your knowledge into practice in different conditions and scenarios.

Comprehensive Theory: Onboard during the trip, you’ll receive in-depth theoretical training on essential topics, including:

  • Course to Steer
  • Effect of Tides
  • Calculation of Tide Heights
  • Meteorology
  • Use of VHF Radio

Practical Training: We believe in hands-on learning. During the course, you’ll gain proficiency in a wide range of practical skills, including:

  • Safety on Board
  • Sailboat Handling in a Port (Docking, Undocking, etc.)
  • Sailing with Different Wind Directions
  • Reefing
  • Anchor Maneuvers
  • Anchoring Under Sail
  • Man Overboard Maneuvers
