“RYA Tender Operator”
The RYA Powerboat level 2 course will enable you to obtain not only a internationally recognised ICC (International Certificate of Competence) but also an MCA commercial endorsement. For crew members operating tenders in the hours of darkness or in unfamiliar waters, the RYA tender operator course (2 days + 1 evening) is applicable. Finally for crew duties on Chase Boats, the RYA Advanced powerboat course may also be suitable.
“RYA PWC (jetski) licence”
A 1 day course that would usually be run for crew members wanting to complete the RYA PWC (jetski) instructor course or for deckhands who are required to operate the jetskis on a regular basis. The course covers low and high speed handling, including close quarters manoeuvring. Passage planning, decision making, essential safety information, collision avoidance and orientation at sea.
“RYA PWC (jetski) instructor”
This 3 day course is extremely sought after particularly for those crew working and chartering in the Med where most legislation now requires that anyone riding a PWC (jetski) holds a PWC licence. The ability for Yachts to offer onboard training and licencing is currently the only practical solution to this issue that would otherwise inhibit the use of the jetski’s. Course Pre-requisites: First Aid, RYA membership, RYA PWC licence. The course can be run for a maximum of 6 students. This course can be run onboard your yacht anywhere in the world.

Great news for those crew members with limited time or who are constantly on the move, our VHF/SRC marine radio courses and Professional Practices and Responsibilites courses can now be completed online. All other courses do require coming to our premises in Palma but with our central location in the middle of the crew hang outs of Santa Catalina we’re never far from your door.
